Love Island Australia: Lucinda Strafford, Irish footballer Aaron Connolly’s ex, takes part in the show

Lucinda Strafford is no stranger to the dating show, having starred in the UK version in 2021.
The blonde beauty entered the villa after splitting from striker Aaron.
The couple later reunited and took a luxury trip to New York together in January. Lucinda was also photographed in Dublin.
However, it seems they finally called it quits earlier this year and Lucinda is now trying her luck with Australian men and is set to take the villa by storm this week.
Months after speculation about a reunion with her ex, Lucinda clarified her relationship status in June.
When asked on her Instagram account if she was dating anyone, Lucinda replied: “I’m single and really not looking for anyone.”
She added that there had been “a lot of questions about it.”
Aaron plays for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the Republic of Ireland national team. He was most recently on loan at Hull.
The Love Island star and influencer previously confessed that her relationship with the Galway native wasn’t “the best relationship ever”.

However, earlier this year it seemed like the pair had given it another go when they shared snaps from their trip to the Big Apple in January.
Lucinda shared photos from her first class flight from London Heathrow to JFK Airport.
She also shared pictures of herself posing in Manhattan with a coffee and pastries from American donut chain Dunkin’ Donuts.
Meanwhile, Connolly shared pictures of himself posing in Times Square.
Lucinda failed to find love on the 2021 UK Love Island season after forming links with Brad McClelland and Aaron Francis.
Lucinda was bombarded with allegations that she was still secretly dating the footballer when she arrived at the villa, rumors which she quickly refuted after leaving the show.
“I’m totally single,” she told the Daily Mail by the time.
“Never in a million years would I continue Love Island If I were in a relationship, and I’m sure if I had a boyfriend, he wouldn’t be very happy with that either.”
“At the beginning of March our relationship ended pretty dramatically,” she said of her relationship with Aaron, “but then we became friends and we share a dog, it’s a common dog and he took care of him.”
“It was at my mother’s house and my mother couldn’t look after three dogs, so it seemed right for him to take care of it. “We broke up a while ago, but things definitely fell through between him and me,” she added.
“He had no idea I was going on Love Island and it was a shock to him. Apparently he drove me to the airport which is a complete lie, I took a taxi.”
“Hopefully he has moved on and I certainly have. It was a funny rumor!”
The couple later got back together but split up before the summer.
