Man (40 years old) arrested for allegedly attacking a woman near Dublin Airport

Gardaí at Dublin Airport investigating the alleged attack on a woman last month arrested a man in connection with the incident.
He has since been released without charge and a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The alleged assault occurred on the morning of October 20 on the R108 in Huntstown, near Dublin Airport.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was later taken to Beaumont Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The man, in his 40s, was arrested on Tuesday and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a garda station in north Dublin.
Gardai say the investigation is ongoing.
They previously appealed to anyone who was in the area between 7.30am and 8.15am or who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
