Mariska Hargitay cameos in Ice-T’s Law & Order: SVU set video

Ice-T gave fans a glimpse Law and order: SVU was in production on Wednesday when its leading lady, Mariska Hargitay, walked over and made a cameo.
As Ice-T explained what he was filming and the friends gushed that they were beautiful, Hargitay asked, “How great was he on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?”
She was, of course, talking about Friday’s launch of Ice-T at the Tinseltown landmark.
“I told Ice, remarkable as I thought him, he surprised and blew me away,” Hargitay said in the clip, which Ice-T shared on social media. “This guy is… he’s a goalie.”
Hargitay was just one of the notable names to support Ice on his big day. Dick Wolf, inventor of the law & order Franchise, plus Ice Cube and Chuck D were there too.
She gave a sweet speech, explaining that it was only right that Ice-T be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is special to her because she has a star right next to the one for her late mother, Actress honored is Jayne Mansfield.
“I want to tell you that it is so profoundly right that your name be remembered here in this place forever, because there is something else that is sacred to me and that is friendship,” she said. “Your achievements and your artistry and all your verbal judo. Her whole story goes so deep. It runs deep, especially here in LA, and it runs deep around the world In a time when people are overusing words without thinking and exhausting the meanings, you are indeed the true OG.
She said Ice-T was “such a joy” in her life and “the embodiment of loyalty.”
“You’re telling the truth, you’re keeping it real, you usually start it off with, ‘So, here’s what’s going on!'” Hargitay said. “You laugh with me every day, we laugh so much at things we shouldn’t laugh at. You grieve with me in times of grief, and you keep things, you keep everything in perspective. You break it, and you worked, learned, lived, grew by my side.”
Of course, Ice-T’s family, including Coco Austin, his wife of two decades, and their daughter, 7-year-old Chanel, were there for him too.
Hargitay’s real-life words came days after her character, Capt. Olivia Benson, an emotional toast to Ice-T’s character, Sgt. Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, after he won an award, on her NBC show. “Fin, I just want you to know you’re not deceiving anyone,” Benson said of Hargitay, “and behind that tough facade is a kind and compassionate man who bravely triumphed over his trauma and used it for so much good. “
The show, which is in its 24th season, generally has a tight cast, as evidenced by its reactions to Sunday’s death of actor Richard Belzer, who played the lead CSR from 1999 to 2016.
“I’ll miss you homie,” Ice-T partially written. Meanwhile, Hargitay said she would miss Belzer’s “unique light” and his “unique take on this strange world.”
