Cryptic? River lyrics by Miley Cyrus are just what we need right now. The “Flowers” singer has released her new album Endless summer vacation on March 10, 2023 and the seventh track in her words is “nasty”.

The Hannah Montana Alum explained that their new album is split into two parts, with River starting the second part as a PM part. “At night it feels like it’s snuggly, rundown and kind of dirty, but glamorous at the same time. At night, it’s a great time to rest, it’s a time to recharge — or it’s a time to get out and experience the wild side,” she said on her March 2023 Disney Plus special, The Backyard Sessions. “In LA, there’s a certain energy in the night where you can feel problems coming to the surface and that’s very inspiring to me.”

In promoting the album, Miley went on her Disney Plus special, The Backyard Sessionsin March 2023. “It was a time in my life where I’ve been through a lot emotionally and personally, and I think all of my songs are evolving in some way,” she said. “You can start out as something that was a problem, like it just feels like it’s an April shower. It never stops raining. And then it started raining like love.”

She continued in the special, “Flow Sometimes we just have to dance for a bang, even if they don’t want me to talk about what the song is about,” the clip is interrupted with a censor beep. “It’s bloody nasty.”

Fans suspected it censored the word for ejaculation, while others also stuck to the theory that it could be about her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth and his cheating scandals.

A fan tweeted out“miley cyrus shot her latest music video for ‘RIVER’ in the same house as the Flowers video, but with 14 men, 14 like the number of women Liam cheated on her with… she’s messy 😭” In the music video, It shows Miley dancing around 14 men against a black and white background.

Though the reports like the “Flowers” music video theories are unconfirmed. However, that doesn’t mean the opportunities aren’t there. The music video for the lead single by Endless summer vacation “Flowers” was an instant hit. Pop Culture Twitter PopTingz claimed that Hemsworth allegedly cheated on Cyrus with 14 women on the set of the music video. “The house where the music video for Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ was shot was previously used by Liam Hemsworth to cheat on Miley with more than 14 wives while they were married,” the account tweeted, but the tweet itself is unconfirmed. The tweet went viral with more than 40,000 likes and 10,000 retweets.

Liam and Miley have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2009, when they met on the set of The last song. In an interview with Howard Stern, Miley also revealed that she didn’t think she and Hemsworth would ever tie the knot. “We’ve been together since we were 16,” she said. “Our house burned down. We were like engaged — I don’t know if we really ever thought we’d actually get married, but when we lost our home in Malibu — what if you hear my voice before and after the fire, they’re very different, so the trauma really affected my voice. And I was actually in South Africa so I couldn’t come home and my animals were tied to a post on the beach. I lost everything.”
