It’s free, so download the update now if you haven’t already to reap the benefits.

To save you time, TikToker Steven Lim has revealed five of the best new features worth checking out.

Unlock your iPhone in landscape mode

Forget about having to adjust your iPhone’s position to unlock it.

Finally, you can use Face ID in landscape mode.

So if you accidentally lock your phone while watching a YouTube video for example, no need to mess around, you can leave your device in the same position it is in.

New iMessage features

iMessage has also received some useful updates.

New options include the ability to mark messages as read or unread.

Just tap and hold on the message you want to do this for and it will appear.

The other great addition is the ability to bring back conversations if you accidentally delete one.

Just tap the Edit button in the top-left corner, followed by Show Recently Deleted.

Here’s a list of conversations you can restore – you have up to 30 days to restore them.

Copy text from video

Maybe you’ve already tried the really useful trick to copy text from image.

Well, Apple has now brought it to video too.

Just pause the video where you want to copy text.

Tap and hold the desired text area.

An option to copy or select all will appear.

extract images

Apple has also added some clever tricks to its photography tech.

Now you can easily select and drag out elements from an image to ship separately.

For example, if you want to drag a flower out of a scene so that it stands alone, this function will do.

Just tap and hold on the item you want to remove and you’ll see a shimmering glow effect when it’s done.

Hold it and drag it to another app to send it to.

Weather app with a new look

Apple’s own weather app also got a bit of an overhaul.

Not only does the app have a fresh look, but it can also send severe weather notifications.

iPhone 14 specs and features

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro come with 6.1-inch displays, but the Plus and Pro Max models expand to 6.7-inches.

There are five colors to choose from including Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and Red.

Apple has kept last year’s A15 chip to power the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, while upgrading the Pro range to a more powerful new A16 chip.

Apple has also upgraded its cameras, claiming that the iPhone 14 can perform better in low-light environments and offer 49 percent better low-light image capture.

There’s a larger sensor and faster focus with an f/1.5 aperture.
