The stewards confirmed the time penalty this morning after yesterday’s investigation into an alleged technical fault.
Shane van Gisbergen led Broc Feeney in a Red Bull Ampol one-two while Waters crossed the line third in his #6 Monster Mustang.
WAU driver Chaz Mostert finished fourth in his #25 Mobil 1 Optus Ford ahead of polesitter Brodie Kostecki (#99 Coca-Cola Camaro).

After Tickford and WAU’s appeals were received, a hearing was held on Saturday night.
Tickford had appealed Cars 88 and 97 and WAU against 97 over the driver cooling systems in the two Camaros.
The Deputy Race Directors also alleged a technical violation of rule C16.2 regarding the driver’s cooling system.
