Notification stops St. Louis County burglars at woman’s home

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Missouri — A man has been charged with burglary after a woman received a notification that he was roaming her home in the middle of the night. Jasper Emmanuel Williams, 33, was arrested Saturday night.

North County Cooperative officials say the woman received the notification when she was not at home. She called the police on Saturday and informed them that the man was outside the home. Police found Williams inside and arrested him. They found significant damage to the shower and mirrors.

Williams is also accused of criminal damage. If convicted, he faces years in prison or jail and thousands of dollars in fines.
