SI’s Dan Wetzel, Ross Dellenger & Pat Forde react to this weekend’s biggest football games and the biggest story in college football: What should happen to Michigan in the ever-evolving sign-stealing scandal?

Michigan analyst Connor Stallions was fired from the school last week, leaving many questions unanswered about the cheating saga. The guys share their thoughts on what Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti should do and what he is allowed to do in this situation. The rest of the Big Ten wants the hammer to fall on Michigan, but the program happens to offer the conference the best chance at a national championship this year.

Alabama hosted LSU this Saturday and appeared to have adopted a new offensive scheme. Quarterback Jalen Milroe had a great game and helped lay the foundation for an SEC championship game between Georgia and Alabama in just a few weeks. The guys also reflect on this season’s impact on LSU and its fan base as we reach the end of Brian Kelly’s second season with the program.

The biggest Pac-12 matchup of the week did not disappoint, as Washington and USC dueled to the finish, resulting in a Washington victory and the firing of USC defensive coordinator Alex Grinch on Sunday. USC star quarterback Caleb Williams was emotional with his family after the game, which leads Dan to a very interesting point about why he didn’t have to sit out the season.

The final Bedlam match was a good result as Oklahoma State emerged victorious over Oklahoma. The boys see this as a worthy conclusion to the rivalry as Oklahoma leaves the Big 12 and moves to the SEC next season. With this result, Texas is also the only remaining Big 12 team that has a shot at CFP competition this season.

Notre Dame suffered its third loss of the season against Clemson and a very motivated Dabo Swinney. The Fighting Irish continue to produce unpredictable games and seasons under Marcus Freeman.

At the end of the podcast, the guys hand out theirs Small example Heisman Awards & as always, Say something nice.
