People are just now realizing that every iPhone has six hidden “battery alerts” that you must never ignore — or you’ll regret it

IPHONE users have been informed of six battery signs they should not ignore.
Smartphone devices have come a long way in the last 15 years, and so have their batteries.
Devices today use Li-ion batteries, which are lighter, smaller and more powerful than their predecessors.
However, these batteries are not without faults and there are many signs that it is time for a new one.
Battery swells
Sometimes batteries swell – even to the point where they outgrow your phone’s body.
This happens because ions move through electrolyte material, and as users keep charging them, the material breaks down and creates gases as a byproduct.

In this case, you must replace your battery as soon as possible.
Some signs of a bloated battery include a cloudy white screen, a separation between the screen and the phone, and the screen feeling “squishy”. ifixit.com.
Phone turns off randomly
If you find your device randomly shutting down even though it’s charged, you may need a new battery.
This happens because Li-ion batteries start to deteriorate as they age.
To check your iPhone’s battery performance, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
Phone feels slow
Similar to the above, if your phone is feeling sluggish or slow despite being charged, you may need a new battery.
A cause of this symptom could be something known as “throttling,” which means your battery health is poor.
Terrible battery life
If you’re using an older iPhone model – like the iPhone 5S or earlier – and your battery drains frequently, then throttling isn’t the culprit here.
Instead, it means your battery has reached the end of its lifespan.
Cell phone only works when connected
Another sure sign that you need to replace your device’s battery is if it only works when plugged in.
If the device works properly while plugged in, that means your phone’s CPU isn’t the problem, it’s the battery itself.
phone gets hot
iPhone batteries tend to generate a lot of heat while charging, but they are designed to keep that heat away from your device.

So if you find your battery is getting hot to the touch, it’s probably time to get a new battery.
Also note that the internal temperature of your iPhone changes depending on your environment – for example, when you are at the beach.
