People are just now realizing that the iPhone has a hidden “Super Call” button – you’ll never go back to the old ways

SAVE your calls from background noise with this simple trick.

Making a FaceTime or audio call in a noisy environment is uncomfortable for everyone involved as you shout over the excitement to be heard.

Well luckily there is a secret feature that helps solve this problem.

It’s hidden in every iPhone iOS 15 and later and it’s called Loud Apple’s User Guide.

“Voice isolation mode prioritizes your voice in a FaceTime call and blocks out ambient noise,” says Apple.

One thing to note, however: According to the user guide, the setting only works on models ranging from the iPhone SE (2nd generation and later) to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple’s latest model.

How can I access it?

The feature is unique to the FaceTime app and works with both video and audio calls, but doesn’t work with your traditional phone application or WhatsApp.

First, open the FaceTime app and start a call.

Open the control center by swiping down from the top right part of the display.

Choose the Microphone Mode setting and you’ll have the option to turn on voice isolation.

When the setting is on, all background noise is drowned out, allowing you to communicate more clearly anywhere.

And some iPhone users even took to Twitter to praise the feature.

“I’m absolutely amazed at how well #iPhone’s voice isolation works in different environments. She’s almost perfect!” said one user tweeted last January.

“It’s cool how the iPhone voice isolation feature really works when making calls. My friend couldn’t hear the background sounds of the Chinese dragon dance,” another wrote earlier this year.

What other FaceTime audio settings should I know about?

If you want the opposite effect and include the full spectrum of background noise, there’s a setting for that too.

It’s perfect when you’re at a live concert and ever want to make another fan jealous over the phone.

It’s called Wide Spectrum mode and you access it in a similar way.

During a FaceTime call, go to Control Center, tap Microphone Mode, and select Wide Spectrum.

Alternatively, suppose someone enters the room during a call and you want the separate conversation to be heard. There is an option to mute yourself.

During the call, tap the screen to display the FaceTime controls, then tap the microphone icon to mute the sound.

You will continue to hear them, but you will remain silent.

To turn the sound back on, tap the button again.
