Person shot after argument in Wentzville, one taken into custody

WENTZVILLE, Mo. – An argument between two people led to a shooting in Wentzville Friday night, police said.

The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Friday on a cul-de-sac on Evergreen Court.

Police tell FOX 2 the victim was struck multiple times. When officers arrived, they performed life-saving measures on the victim before transporting her to the hospital.

FOX 2 has not yet confirmed the condition of the person shot and a person of interest is in custody as of 9:30 p.m
