Peter Dinklage and Juliette Lewis join the cast of Tubi’s dark western thriller

The project stars Peter Dinklage (game of Thrones, Six feet under, The Venomous Avenger) and Juliette Lewis (Natural born killers, Yellowjackets), who recently traveled to Calgary, Canada, where the main production is on.

Settled around the turn of the century the thicket follows an innocent young man, Jack (Hawke), as he embarks on an epic quest to rescue his sister Lula (Creed-Miles) after she has been kidnapped by violent killer Cut Throat Bill (Lewis) and her gang. To save her, Jack enlists the help of a cunning bounty hunter named Reginald Jones (Dinklage), a grave-digging alcoholic son of an ex-slave (Akinnagbe) and a quick-witted prostitute (Grace). The gang tracks Cut Throat Bill to the deadly no man’s land known as The Big Thicket – a place of blood and chaos.

Eliot Lester (nightingale, lightning) is directed from a screenplay by playwright Christopher Kelly. Guillermo Garza will serve as DP while Ray Suen (Childish Gambino, Lorde) arranges the score.

Dinklage has it in his sights the thicket a long time ago. He has been involved with the project for a decade, with cast members changing throughout the process.
