Plan to have creepy US police robots kill suspects revealed in new controversial draft policy

A draft POLICY just released could give police officers explicit permission to use robots with intent to kill suspects.

This politics was designed by the San Francisco Police Department and is on its way to the state’s Board of Supervisors.

Its approval would determine the future of police robots in the city of San Francisco.

The policy has met with opposition because of its language, making it clear that police officers can use robots and military technology with deadly force on certain occasions.

“Robots will only be used as a deadly force option when the threat of death to members of the public or officials is imminent and outweighs any other force option available to the SFPD,” the policy reads.

Originally, Aaron Peskin, a member of the Board of Supervisors’ Rules Committee, wanted to use less violent language.

“Robots may not be used to use force against people,” says the first draft of the directive.

This was not approved by the police, who sent back the draft with the section crossed out in red.

If the policy were approved, it would be a first in the city of San Francisco, where the use of deadly force by robots has never been allowed.

Peskin said the original draft was approved because “there could be scenarios where the use of deadly force is the only option.”

Corresponding Mission Localthose opposing the verdict have called the verdict’s language “dystopian” and “not normal.”

“We live in a dystopian future where we are debating whether police can use robots to execute citizens without a trial, jury or judge,” said Tifanei Moyer, a senior attorney with the San Francisco Bay-area Civil Rights Advocate’s Committee.

The San Francisco Police Department has 17 robots, 12 of which are fully operational.

These devices are remote controlled and are typically used to defuse bomb threats or to survey the area.

The new policy will expand the capabilities of the robots, including training, simulation, critical incidents and more.

Robot police officers are a new problem for many states and will likely become more popular in the near future.
