PlayStation Network is DOWN, preventing PS5 and PS4 players from getting online

PLAYSTATION players are unable to get online this morning due to what appears to be a worldwide outage.

Sony has confirmed that “there are problems with some services”.

PS5, PS4, PS3 and PS Vita all flocked to Twitter to report issues.

This means that many cannot log into their account or do things online such as B. play with friends.

According to the company’s on-service status website, it appears to be affecting gaming streaming, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct.

“You may have difficulty launching games, apps, or network functions,” the website reads.

“We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”

Regarding the PlayStation Store, it states: “You may have difficulty obtaining products from the PlayStation Store.”

What is behind the failure is still unclear.

PlayStation Video and Account Management are the only services unaffected by the current outage.
