Police are investigating an altercation in National City

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. – A fight broke out between several teenagers at a restaurant in National City on Tuesday, authorities said.

The altercation happened at TacoMan at 2708 Highland Ave. around 3:57 p.m., National City police confirmed with FOX 5.

According to police, two teenagers were eating tacos when another group of children showed up in a car, leading to a fight.

According to law enforcement, at one point one of the children in the car pulled out a bat and began hitting the others. The group of young people who were in the car then left the scene.

A teenager was taken to the hospital because of arm pain, police said.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
