Ticket records for Connor Stalions were leaked and Michigan was branded a “cheat” by the general college football public for the time being. The boys speculate about how high the reported signs were, who knew about them, and what Michigan’s ultimate penalty would be if the program was found to have violated the rules.
Quinn Ewers suffered an injury last week, prompting him to make a weekly decision to start at quarterback for Texas. We will have a chance to see the strength of the Longhorn signal callers as both Arch Manning and Maalik Murphy received first team reps this week and may see action this Saturday at home against BYU.
Utah continues to impose its will on other members of the Pac-12 and the Utes hope to continue that trend this weekend against Oregon. The crew finds it fitting that the Utes remained known as the conference’s meat grinder during the Pac-12’s final year.
The boys focus on the latest in the conference’s wave of announced realignments this summer. Oregon State and Washington State continue to fight for Pac-12 assets, which will be retained once conference deserters UCLA, USC, Washington and Oregon leave.
