Prada redesigns East Hampton boutique – WWD

prada everything is ready for summer.
prada has reopened its East Hampton store at 2 Newtown Lane with a new design. The store opened for the season on Friday.
Designed by the Prada team, the store’s decor consists of an ivory and bright blue striped carpet and walls with the same motif. A white neon sign illuminates the surfaces and offers a new interpretation of the iconic Prada triangle logo, while large wooden wall shelves and tables display and highlight the goods.

The store originally opened last July, the first time the Italian luxury brand has opened a store in the Hamptons. The original design featured ivory and green stripes and a green neon sign that interpreted the Prada logo.

The new interior, framed by a series of large windows, covers 1,600 square meters and houses the women’s and men’s collections of ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories. The shop will also present the Hamptons with a capsule collection and exclusive product. This is Prada’s only store in the Hamptons.
