“‘Reality’ Trailer Teases Sydney Sweeney Release Date”

HBO Films is proud to present the film with the least searchable name: reality. Sydney Sweeney plays Reality Winner, the 25-year-old former American intelligence operative who leaked an intelligence report suggesting Russia had interfered in the 2016 presidential election. She received the longest prison sentence ever for the unauthorized disclosure of government information to the media in 2018. The dialogue in reality comes directly from transcripts of Winner’s FBI interrogation at her home, according to the film’s press release. In the new trailer, Sweeney starts off by sparing with a couple of NSA lackeys who interrogate her (they think she weighs 100 pounds – what a compliment!) before throwing a few expert-level frowns at the world. Screenplay and direction: Tina Satter, based on her play Is this a space, reality? Josh Hamilton also stars (AHS: Circle) and Marchant Davis (The day will come). It will continue to be streamed renamed to Max May 29th.
