Robbery at gunpoint in St. Louis, near Tower Grove Park

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – Police were dispatched to respond to a robbery near Tower Grove Park. The victim said he was held at gunpoint during the event on November 4 around 8:30 p.m

The victim had arranged to meet a person he had been in contact with on Instagram. While walking through the pathways in Tower Grove Park, a group of suspects appeared with a gun.

They confronted the victim, forced him to accompany them to his vehicle, and explicitly stated their intention to get him to withdraw money from an ATM.

The suspects asked the victim to sit in the passenger seat of his vehicle. One suspect was supposed to sit behind him while another tried to operate the driver’s seat.

However, her attempt to drive the vehicle failed because it had a manual transmission. The suspects then fled.

The investigation into this incident is currently ongoing.
