Police say a gas station attendant was ambushed and shot dead by a robber on July 23, 2023 in southwest Philadelphia.

The 23-year-old worker was once shot in the foot after an argument with the suspect, who later fled on foot and is now wanted by police.

Officials believe the suspect is between 25 and 30 years old and was wearing a light blue jacket with dark blue stripes. He wore white shorts and sneakers with a multicolored design of grey, black and white. He was wearing a smartwatch with an orange strap.

The entire incident was caught on camera at the Conoco gas station at 5364 Lindbergh Boulevard just off South 56 Street.

In the video, the robber can be seen waiting at a gas pump before approaching the worker who is entering the market.

The two are seen arguing before the waiter is shot and the suspect enters the market, gun in hand.

While in the market, the security camera shows the suspect walking into the cash register, grabbing a handful of coins, and then leaving. Then you see him running away.
