Six Flags in New Jersey Celebrates 30 Years of Fright Fest – NBC10 Philadelphia

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey announces a series of events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Fright Fest.
The program includes eight stunning haunted houses, six creepy spooky zones and four spooky entertaining shows.

“We’re ready to bring nightmares to life with the spookiest Fright Fest in our 30-year history,” said Brian Bacica, President of Six Flags Great Adventure Park, in a press release.
There are two new haunted houses inspired by the movies The Conjuring and Saw X that are slated to hit theaters on September 15th.
The park is hosting Fright Fest preview nights on September 8th and 9th for those wanting an exclusive first look at all the new attractions.
The Fright Fest Haunted Attractions will be held on the 8th-9th, 15th-17th, 22nd-24th, 29th-30th. September and on 1st, 6th-8th, 12th-15th, 18th-22nd and 25.-31. held in October.
The day is reserved for the family-friendly Kids Boo Fest, which features trick-or-treating at Cornstalk National Park, the hunt for Boo, a live show called Witch’s Brew, and fun-filled wagon rides.
Guests with young children are advised to leave the park at night, as “the celebrations take a scary turn.”
In addition, guests can enjoy a wide range of drinks and food, visit the brand new “RIP” lounge and shop for the popular Fright Fest hoodies.
