Snow Patrol breakup NOT amicable?? Band Member’s Wife Calls Johnny McDaid a ‘Snake’!

ICYMI, the legendary indie rock band known for their Grey’s anatomy Plane sad songs, said goodbye to two of its members – the drummer Johnny Quinn and bassist Paul Wilson – last week. Gary Lightbody, Nathan ConnollyAnd Johnny McDaid (AKA Courteney Cox‘s beau) were “heartbroken” that their two friends had left the line-up, according to a post on Gary’s social media, which read:
“We are heartbroken that they have decided to leave us, but we wish them nothing but happiness, success, joy, compassion and all they desire in all their future endeavors.”
At first it seemed as if the whole thing had gone amicably. The lead singer’s post went on to say that the remaining three band members would continue as a trio and couldn’t praise their former drummer and bassist enough. It was really just one of those things – it was just time for the boys to retire. Until Quinn’s wife dropped a bombshell!

Mariana Quinnwho, unlike her husband, chose not to remain silent about the SP split, responded to a fan Instagram Monday when they asked what she thought of the whole ordeal. She revealed her drummer’s relationship with Gary and Nathan is still great – but as for McDaid, she told a different story:
“The last idiot is a snake though.”
Wow!
It’s unclear what prompted Mariane to say this about the longtime songwriter, but she even openly praised Gary and Nathan on her social media, leaving out McDaid’s name:
“I’m so incredibly proud of my husband and with very mixed feelings Johnny announces his departure from the band. So many great times, so many incredible people and experiences. I couldn’t have dreamed it. Sad that the reason for leaving isn’t the best, but I’m excited for what lies ahead. I wish Gary and Nathan all the best for the future and I hope you stick together.”

A resource to turn to The sun More details surrounding the split emerged on Monday, and while they didn’t go into too much detail, it sounds like there’s definitely unrest between the members. The insider said: “Tensions between the group boiled over Johnny and Paul decided they no longer wanted to work with McDaid”:
“It became completely unsustainable for them to stay together. Johnny has a little bad blood with some members of the band. But while neither of them want to talk publicly about it right now, Mariane isn’t afraid to stop by and say what she thinks.”
But we shouldn’t count on it staying secret forever, as the source added:
“Everything comes out in the wash.”

Meanwhile, Mariane still has her “pop” online, going so far as to criticize McDaid’s songwriting and calling him an “odd fanboy” — we can’t imagine what she means by that, but with tensions this high, it is not possible to be good! And where is Courteney in all this mess?
