Titans star recruit Kieran Foran has overcome a knee injury and will line up against the Dragons as the Gold Coast pursues a 2-0 start to the season.

Dragons playmaker Talatau Amone has been extended but will not play in St George’s season opener after the Round 1 bye.

Amone was cleared for the game on Tuesday after it was confirmed he was no longer subject to the NRL’s clean-shooting stand-down policy following an alleged hammer attack last year.

Dragons coach Anthony Griffin is already under pressure after several off-field incidents over the summer.

Titans coach Justin Holbrook will also be under pressure if his side drop out of the top eight after a disastrous 2022 season.
