St.Louis suspect seen calmly loading his gun and shooting execution style at a homeless man in broad daylight: police
St Louis Missouri Police Department arrested a man Monday who was allegedly caught on video executing a man in broad daylight.
Police told Fox News Digital that officers responded to a call for a “shootout” just after 10am Monday and when they arrived they found the victim lying on the sidewalk with a head wound.
A preliminary investigation found the victim and a male suspect engaged in a brawl at a nearby Shell petrol station shortly before the shooting.
The suspect, police added, fled the scene on foot.
Around 2:45 p.m., an officer spotted the suspect, later identified as Deshawn Thomas, 23, of St. Louis, and alerted the county.
Thomas was seen entering a library and taken into custody a short time later.
Police said Thomas was in possession of a firearm and bullet casings at the time of his arrest.

District Attorney Kim Garnder’s office charged Thomas with first-degree murder and armed criminal activity.
Video of the incident surfaced on social media shortly after the incident and was viewed by Fox News Digital.
The nearly one-and-a-half minute video begins with three people in the frame, one of whom is lying down on a curb that separates the street from the sidewalk. Finally, one of the three men walks away.
The person who is either recording the video or who is in the room orders another person to do so Call the police because a man standing over another lying man had a gun in his hand.
The person with the gun, believed to be Thomas, continued to stand over the man who was sitting at the curb, apparently not paying attention to what was happening around him.
The suspected shooter stands calmly over the victim while he loads the gun. Moments later he points the gun at the head of the man sitting on the curb and you hear a gunshot. The video quickly deviates from the scene and a man is heard saying, “Oh my god, he fucking killed him.”
Several people posted and shared video of the shooting.
The video was eventually removed and reposted by users berating prosecutor Kim Gardner.
The George Soros-backed prosecutor was asked by the state’s governor and attorney general to resign from her position for alleged neglect of her duties. Gardner also has a history of allegations of misconduct and abusive cases, well before her most recent scandal involving a 16-year-old volleyball player who was struck by a vehicle and lost both her legs.
The man accused in the incident, 21-year-old Daniel Riley, did not have a driver’s license and was awaiting trial on bail on an armed robbery charge as of 2020. He has also violated the terms of his bail at least 50 times, according to local reports.
