Staud and Wrangler Unveil Fall Fashion Collaboration – Sourcing Journal

A new collaboration gives Wrangler a West Coast aesthetic.
The label, which is part of Kontoor Brands, announced a collaboration with Staud on Thursday. The collection combines Wrangler’s denim heritage with the Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand’s modern perspective.
Inspired by vintage advertisements for Wrangler and Staud founder Sarah Staudinger’s favorite Wrangler jeans, the brands describe the partnership as one that “foregrounds classic denim construction” and “feminine designs to create a carefully curated “To deliver a collection that effortlessly blends classic Americana style with contemporary design.” Features and looks.”

Comprised of elevated essentials in two mix-and-match washes, the eight-piece collection includes flared jeans, a bra top, a zip-up jumpsuit, a vest, a pencil skirt, an oversized cuff jacket and a chambray western shirt dress. The garments feature the logos of both brands, while the belt loops of the jeans say Staud.
The limited collection is available on both brands’ websites and in Staud stores. Retail price ranges from $95 to $350.
Founded in 2015, Staud has carved a niche in the women’s market with its colorful take on staples and whimsical dresses. It also offers denim like denim blazers, painted pants and jeans. Staud previously worked with Birkenstock, Keds and New Balance.

The drop is Wrangler’s second in as many weeks. The brand launched a retro cowboy collection with Parisian label Sandro that reinterprets archival Western designs. The collection is available now on Sandro’s EU website and will launch in the US at a later date.
