Suki Waterhouse, Letitia Wright and more stars at the Elle Style Awards – WWD

The Elle Style Awards 2023, held in London on Tuesday, recognized the best British artists, designers and other industry pioneers. Celebrity guests at the event included Suki Waterhouse, who wore a somberly romantic outfit in a black dress by Fendi with sheer details from the brand’s Fall 2023 couture collection.

Waterhouse’s dress consisted of a strapless black gown with a sheer slip dress embellished with crystals underneath.

The actress was honored with the Performer Award presented by fellow musician Sharleen Spiteri. The event was attended by other celebrities including Gemma Chan, Florence Pugh and more. More insights into the future.

Chan also tapped into a romantic theme in a soft pink Louis Vuitton gown that featured decorative lace detailing along her torso to the skirt. Chan is a brand ambassador for the fashion house and often collaborates with stylist Rebecca Corbin Murray on her looks.

Letitia Wright

Letitia Wright wore an asymmetric jacket and pants Alexander McQueen. Part of the brand’s Pre-Spring 2024 collection, the ‘Black Panther’ star’s jacket also featured crystal chain embroidery.

Cora Corre

In honor of her grandmother, the late designer Vivienne Westwood, Cora Corré wore a beige dress with ruffle detail on the chest by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood. During the fashion event, Westwood posthumously received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Billie Piper

Billie Piper stepped out in a teal blazer and wide-leg pants from Nina Ricci’s Fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection. Her look also included a giant plate hat and an oversized hat 3D flower attachment at the neckline. Fellow British star Harry Styles also wore a floral-embellished suit by Nina Ricci to the 2023 Brit Awards in February.

Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh mixed punk with dainty in a sheer Alexander McQueen dress with floral detailing and a high neck. The “Oppenheimer” actress attended the awards ceremony to accept the British Icon Award, also dressed by Rebecca Corbin Murray.

Ncuti Gatwa

Ncuti Gatwa attended the fashion event and accepted the Modern Pioneer Award in a suit designed by Ozwald Boateng. The English fashion designer’s ‘Sex Education’ star’s suit included a teal and pink tribal silk tie. Gatwa recently starred alongside Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and Issa Rae in the movie Barbie.
