Summer House’s Carl Radke Breaks His Silence on Breakup Shocker — and Lindsay Hubbard Is FURIOUS!

Carl Radke is finally breaking his silence about his messy (and reportedly entirely on-camera) breakup with his fiancée Lindsay Hubbard. The couple got engaged in 2022 and planned to finally tie the knot in Mexico later that year. But all those dreams were dashed recently during filming for the show when he called off the engagement, seemingly out of nowhere for her! Now it seems that at least one of the parties is ready to deal with the incident.

In a letter the 38-year-old Bravolebrity sent to family and friends – and received from People on Monday – he apologizes to all potential wedding guests for the sudden separation:
“Words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I. We are so sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We had to figure out exactly how this all happened before we even had a chance to determine the path forward together.”
He continued by refuting the widespread rumors that this was all just attention, claiming he and Lindsay were both torn over their split:
“There were a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings which only made things more painful, but unfortunately we are not moving forward with the wedding at this time. The fact is, Lindsay is devastated and I am devastated about how this all happened. I graciously ask you for some patience and grace to heal and recover as we navigate this extremely difficult time.”
Yeah, we bet the whole “Lindsay and I” stuff is NOT going over well. No one wants the person who just broke up with them to speak on their behalf. Let’s get back to that in a moment.
Carl concluded by acknowledging that everyone had invested a lot of “time and money” preparing for the upcoming wedding and suggested that their guests simply vacation there or cancel all reservations. He then concluded the letter by thanking everyone for their love and support:
“I do not take [this] light. We are very grateful for the love and support you have shown us and will do what I can to help with the costs associated with changing your plans… I’m sorry again that this has become such a mess. Thank you for your unconditional love and support during this difficult time. I will contact you with further updates. With love, Carl”
Wow… there is a lot to digest and still a lot of unanswered questions. Furthermore, Lindsay doesn’t agree with the news?!
Just hours after the letter was published, a source close to the 37-year-old reality star claimed that he sent the letter without her blessing! When speaking with Page Sixsaid the insider:
“Lindsay did not approve Carl’s letter before it was published, so there is no ‘we.’ It definitely hurts her, for sure.”
Oof!
Yes, we could have told him that! LOLz!
As for the fact that we want to inform everyone “of the facts” – well, we should know for ourselves soon enough. We mean, the whole thing was supposedly filmed, so the truth will be broadcast on TV…right? Thoughts, Perezcious readers??
