Here in Miami, we take fashion very seriously. I mean, everywhere you go everyone is dressed to impress, even our furry friends.

But on Wednesday, it’s time for our fur babies to shine on Hyde Beach with dog fashion week at the SLS South Beach.

This isn’t a cat walk, it’s a dog walk.

Aura Copeland: “It’s a great opportunity to enjoy an evening out with your furry friend without leaving him or her at home and learn about the latest trends in accessories, fashion and canine fashion.”

This year is going to be bigger and better. Over 60 fur babies will present the latest trends on the catwalk.

Aura Copeland: “You’re going to see a lot of Barbie-inspired pink, you’re going to see a lot of tutus, a lot of beads, rhinestones, and fun accessories too.”

What a treat for the paw.

Aura Copeland: “We thought why not celebrate the love for our dogs? All dog owners know how obsessed we are with our dogs’ outfits. So why not share this love of fashion and dogs in one place?”

Lucy Femeo: “The whole experience was wonderful because I could see all the other owners with their dogs and how other owners love their dogs as much as I do. My dog ​​is my whole world, we fit together, we go everywhere together.”

Aura Copeland: “We have several designers including Mia, who traveled all the way from LA, from Designer Quarter Pups, and she will be dressing Trupa, the dog who will be the host for the evening, in her latest creations.”

Because this year the best dressed puppy wins a grand prize!

Tyler Newell: “We actually offer a Paw Cation package. So one lucky winner who is judged to win the dog show has the opportunity to come back with their owner, spend the night here at the SLS South Beach and really enjoy the day.”

Tickets for the doggy fashion show are $50 and start at 7 p.m
