Teenager arrested after heroin and cocaine worth €100,000 were seized in West Dublin

Gardai said cocaine worth €35,000 and diamorphine worth €70,000 were seized during the search.

A teenage man has been arrested after gardai seized drugs worth more than €100,000 in west Dublin yesterday.
The drugs were discovered following a search of a property in Clondalkin by officers from the Ronanstown Drugs Unit, assisted by the Garda Dog Unit.
Gardai said cocaine worth €35,000 and diamorphine worth €70,000 were seized during the search.
A small number of cannabis plants were also found at the scene.
All suspected drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
A Garda spokesman said a teenager was arrested following the search.
He said: “A male youth was arrested by gardaí and later held at Ronanstown Garda Station.
“He was later released without charge and a file is now being prepared for the Garda Youth Diversion Office.”
