The Arrow in the Head Show debates Dario Argento’s Suspiria and the 2018 remake

A new episode of The arrow in the head show has just released, and in this, our hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek look back on a 1977 film that’s often cited as one of the greatest horror classics of all time: Dario Argentos suspiracy (Got it HERE) and they also discuss the remake! Director/actor Joe Cornet is also stopping by to talk about his upcoming Giallo-inspired film Nurse’s Night and sexy thrillers Kaleidoscope.

Argento is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Daria Nicolodi, inspired by Thomas De Quinceys Suspiria de Profundis, suspiracy has the following summary:

Suzy travels to Germany to attend a ballet school. When she arrives late on a stormy night, no one lets her in and she sees Pat, another student, escaping from the school. When Pat reaches her apartment, she is murdered. The next day, Suzy is accepted into her new school but has trouble adjusting. She hears noises and often feels sick. As more and more people die, Suzy uncovers the place’s chilling secret history.

The main roles are played by Jessica Harper, Stefania Casini, Flavio Bucci, Miguel Bosé, Barbara Magnolfi, Susanna Javicoli, Eva Axén, Alida Valli and Joan Bennett.
