The final trailer of the Super Mario Bros movie has been released

Illumination and Nintendo release the final trailer for The Super Mario Bros Movie, which begins a grand adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom.

As they promised last month, Illumination and Nintendo released the last trailer for The Super Mario Bros Movieand I’m always amazed at how funny the film looks.

“While working underground to fix a water pipe, Brooklyn plumbers Mario (Chris Pratt) and brother Luigi (Charlie Day) are transported through a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world.‘ is the official synopsis. “But when the brothers get separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi. With the help of a Mushroom Kingdom resident Toad (Keegan-Michael Key) and some training from the Mushroom Kingdom’s strong-willed ruler, Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Mario harnesses his own power.” The final Super Mario Bros Movie Trailer borrows heavily from several aspects of the long-running video game franchise, including Mario Kart. The final half features a thrilling race across the rainbow bridge as Mario learns just how effective those green shells can be. Of course, it also just makes you want to play Mario Kart.

Alongside Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, The Super Marios Bros Movie also includes the voices of Jack Black as Bowser, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. Not only that, there will be a special voice of Charlie’s Martinet, who has been voicing Mario and Luigi in the Super Mario video games for more than thirty years.

If the film is successful, it could easily lead to sequels, spinoffs, and adaptations of other Nintendo properties. Charlie Day has expressed interest in starring in a Luigi’s mansion movie, told ComicBook.com last year, “Look I’m thrilled to get the opportunity, I grew up watching Super Mario Brothers like everyone I know so we’ll see! As with everything in life, I’ll go if I’m invited!’“
