The Flash: Red Death Revealed and What’s Next for Chester and Allegra

“I love it. It’s really intense,” says Brandon McKnight, who plays Team Flash techie Chester P. Runk the geek. “In terms of Big Bads rankings, The Red Death is at the top simply because the team has never faced anyone as accomplished as The Red Death. The team was up against really powerful people; You were up against really smart people. But now you have someone who is literally Batwoman, you know what I mean? Someone with those brains who’s kind of a tactician who also has speed. That is much.”
McKnight calls the conclusion to the Red Death storyline “gorgeous” and insists fans have no idea what’s coming in next week’s episode.
“I’ll tell you whatever you’re thinking right now, because I’ve seen a lot of predictions about what this next episode is going to be, but nobody got it right,” he laughs. “That’s what I say: everyone is wrong. Whatever you think – no.”
And according to McKnight, things won’t slow down until the series finale either.
“Unfortunately, this will be our shortest season,” he says. “But we go through so many twists and turns in the few episodes we do that it’s like each character is pushed to bring and tested in different ways. Everyone on Team Flash has some kind of emotional and personal journey to embark on and find out while also dealing with some of the craziest villains and situations. It’s huge. It’s enormous. Definitely a rollercoaster ride.”
However, The LightningThe final season of must not only see the Red Death and all other villains lurking in the remaining episodes defeated. It also needs to tie together the stories of its beloved protagonists, and for Chester that means looking to the future — and deciding what kind of person he will become.
