The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show returns. Here’s what you should know – NBC 6 South Florida

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) will once again be anchored in South Florida starting Wednesday.

The annual event takes place at seven locations, including the renowned Bahia Mar Yachting Center and the Broward County Convention Center.

Over 100,000 people are expected to attend the events, which will have an economic impact of nearly $1.8 billion for the region.

From ticket prices to transportation, here’s what you need to know about the 64th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show:

When is the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show?

Events and boat shows will take place from Wednesday, October 25th to Sunday, October 29th.

On Wednesday the show is open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m

How do I purchase tickets to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show?

Ticket prices for the annual event vary.

  • A one-day general admission ticket is available for $42 and is valid for any day of the show.
  • A two-day admission ticket is available for $70 and is valid for any two days of the fair.
  • A one-day preview ticket for Wednesday is available for $64, but this ticket is valid for any day from Wednesday to Sunday.
  • Tickets for children (ages 6 to 15) are available for $16 and are valid for any day of the show.
  • Tickets for children under 6 are free as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

If you are interested in the Windward VIP experience, tickets are available for $398 and include early entry to the show, access to the Windward VIP Club, food and premium beverages, and a water taxi.

Tickets are valid for any day of the show. One-day Windward VIP tickets and Fort Lauderdale Concours packages are also available for $523.

Guests can take advantage of all VIP benefits and receive 20% off Fort Lauderdale Concours tickets.

Tickets give you access to all seven boat show locations: the Broward County Convention Center, Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Las Olas Marina, Hall of Fame Marina, SuperYacht Village at Pier 66 South, Pier 66 Marina and the 17th Street Yacht Basin.

How can I take the Brightline to the boat show?

Those interested in taking part in FLIBS can now benefit from a car-free connection thanks to Brightline’s expanded service offering.

FLIBS-attending Brightline guests from Miami, West Palm Beach, Aventura, Boca and now Orlando can take trains to Fort Lauderdale Brightline Station for the largest aquatic boat show in the world.

As part of the show’s shuttle service, the boat show provides a free shuttle service from Brightline Station to the Riverside Hotel.

Special cocktails will be available at Brightline’s Mary Mary Bars throughout the show, including a signature drink, the Rumgroni, at the Havana Club.
