The Last of Us PC: Game release date and pre-order on Steam

The HBO TV series THE Last of Us was a resounding success, and many viewers are now looking forward to playing the acclaimed video games the series is based on.

Luckily, the latest remake of the first game for PS5 called The Last of Us Part 1 will soon be released for PC, allowing more fans to relive Joel and Ellie’s captivating story firsthand.

As with all recent PC ports of Sony games, fans should expect even more improvements over the console version, better graphics and higher frame rates.

Is The Last of Us available for PC?

The Last of Us is not yet available for PC, but the game’s most recent remake, The Last of Us Part 1, is set to be released very soon.

A few months ago, developer Naughty Dog confirmed that The Last of Us is finally coming to PC, almost ten years after the game’s original release.

When is The Last of Us release date for PC?

The Last of Us Part 1 PC release date is now March 28, 2023after a three-week delay from the original date.

Naughty Dog announced the delay in February, saying the team needed the extra weeks to ensure the game is as polished as possible for its PC debut.

How do I pre-order The Last of Us on PC?

The Last of Us Part 1 for PC can already be pre-ordered via steam and the Epic game store and costs €49.99.

Pre-ordering The Last of Us Part 1 now will grant you access to download and play the game once it is released.

If you pre-order you will receive bonus supplements and bonus in-game weapon parts.

Supplements are used to improve attributes such as health, crafting speed, healing speed, and weapon wobble.

Weapon parts are used to upgrade weapons at workbenches.

The price and pre-order bonuses are the same at both PC retailers, so you can buy what you prefer from them.

What does The Last of Us Part 1 Deluxe Edition include?

A Last of Us Part 1 Deluxe Edition is also available to pre-order and that would cost you an extra £10. The Deluxe Edition includes early unlocking of a few in-game items that will help your playthrough:

• Increased crafting speed
• Increased healing speed
• 9mm upgrade to increase reload speed
• Upgrade to increase rifle clip capacity
• Explosive Arrows gameplay modifier
• Dither punk filter

It also unlocks Speedrun mode earlier if you’d like to time yourself and beat time records as you play through the game’s levels.

Finally, the deluxe version includes the following six weapon skins:

• Black and gold 9mm pistol
• Silver filigree 9mm pistol
• Rubber tactical shotgun
• Molded oak shotgun
• Arctic White Arch
• Carbon black bow

Weapon skins are only cosmetic items, so they won’t make your weapons more powerful, but they will look better in-game.
