The Lemedy sports bra is on sale on Amazon

If you’re someone with a larger chest, finding a good sports bra is virtually impossible. I know because I’ve tried them all – underwired, underwired, extra support, racerback, criss-cross, you name it. And on top of the fact that these undergarments tend to be extremely uncomfortable (something like a panini press for the boobs), they’re also super expensive. The icing on the cake is that they’re generally ugly too. But there is one sports bra, the Lemedy Padded Sports Bra, that a friend (who is shaped like me) raves about. She found it, believe it or not, on Amazon. And she’s not the only fan. The Lemedy sports bra has gone viral on TikTok, solving problems for busty exercisers everywhere. Although I was skeptical (how can such flimsy straps hold up while working out?), I ended up ordering one. It costs anywhere from $13 to $20 depending on the color, so I figured it would be a worthwhile gamble. Spoiler alert: I’m in love with this bra.

Dear reader, let me tell you: I was fascinated as soon as I tried it on. The Lemedy Sports Bra not only holds you tight and supports you like a hug, but also makes the girls look good. It’s lightly padded so even if you don’t pack too much it will give you some buoyancy (and you can remove the pads if you want). It’s soft and breathable.

And because of those straps? I was thrilled to discover that they don’t dig into the shoulders or leave red marks. After training in it, I immediately bought another color. One note: consider going up a size, especially if you have a larger bust.

The bra is available in 20 colors ranging from neutral to pastel shades and it has amassed the following. Not only is it trending on TikTok because it’s so supportive and cute, but it’s also garnered over 38,000 five-star reviews on Amazon.

“This is the perfect workout tank top!” gushed one buyer. “Good support… It’s super flattering and the perfect length for anything with a high waist. I would even wear it as a night out top!”

Another agreed: “I absolutely love this sports bra/crop tank. It’s perfect for larger breasts! I can never find sports bras that give me full support and this one does.”

If you’re concerned about your upper back or armpit, this sports bra has earned the Curvy Girl Seal of Approval. Shares one: “I’m 5’1″, 175lbs and have large boobs and some back and armpit fat so I usually have trouble finding bras that I like. One of my biggest annoyances is when the bra elastic cuts right through my armpits/back flab. These don’t. They are perfect for curvy girls! While I wouldn’t recommend this bra for running or high-impact sports, it’s great for yoga, pilates, or weight training. Besides, you can wear it outside or inside the house; It’s such a relief to have great support without that squashed sports bra feel.
