The most popular movies on Hulu last week

We love movies. They offer us special little glimpses into worlds that many of us can only dream of. Only through the magic of cameras, CGI and outstanding cast and crew can we see them in the blink of an eye. For us, movies are more than just a chance to take a few hours to unwind after a long day. They have become powerful ways for storytellers to freeze time as we know it and transport us to a world outside of ourselves.

However, you don’t have to take our word for it. According to a recent Nielsen reportIn 2021, Americans have watched streaming content for almost 15 million years. Yes you’ve read correctly. Not minutes, not hours, not even months. Fifteen million years have been spent streaming online – and movies have played a big part in that.

When it came to the top movies on Hulu last week, viewers had their eye on a little bit of everything. Movies that could get the whole family laughing like Despicable Me, Beetlejuice and How to Train Your Dragon. Movies that might keep you in suspense, like Stephen King’s It or Watcher. There was even a bit of romance showing through on “Crazy, Stupid, Love.”
