The new iPhone update brings back the beloved feature that has been missing for YEARS – turn it on now

APPLE finally listened to iPhone fans’ pleas and brought back the battery percentage.
For years, people had to guess how much juice was left based on the battery icon in the corner.
But not anymore as the tech giant has decided to reintroduce the popular feature.
Battery percentage was previously shown on devices released before 2017.
but Apple was forced to scrap it, apparently due to space issues with the notch on the iPhone X at the time.
Now the notch on the iPhone 14 is gone and the company has decided it’s time to bring digits back for good.

And thankfully, you don’t have to own the latest iPhone to get it.
Battery percentage is included in iOS 16. So if you have installed the free update, you can turn it on.
But be warned – not all iPhones support it.
Apple says the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 13 mini won’t show it.
This means only the following iPhones can use it:
- iPhone 14 pro max
- iPhone 14 pro
- iPhone 14Plus
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 13 Pro max
- iPhone 13 pro
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 12 pro max
- iPhone 12 pro
- iPhone 13
- iPhone XS
- iPhone X
How to add battery percentage to iPhone
If you want to see the battery percentage on your iPhone, just follow these steps.
First, make sure you have iOS 16 installed.
Once that’s done, open the settings.
Go to battery.
Then turn on the battery percentage Possibility.

You should now see the percentage inside the battery icon in the top right corner.
And you no longer have to guess how much power is really left.
