Sabrina Elba made an elegant statement on the red carpet for the premiere of her husband Idris Elba’s latest film, Luther: The Fallen Sun.

Walking the red carpet at the BFI IMAX Waterloo in London on Wednesday, Elba posed in a long black dress. Her silky style featured a slim fit with a sharply draped skirt accented by long sleeves with glove-like openings to cover her hands.

The piece was given extra dimension with a wrap-around belt, crafted from glossy, linked balls of different sizes that dangle in strands at the back for a futuristic finish reminiscent of squid tentacles.

Elba glamourously completed her outfit with a red manicure and sparkling round crystal earrings. Idris, on the other hand, wore an elegant suit in a deep mauve suit with a pleated front layer and a pointed collar, paired with Christian Louboutin’s $945 black patent-leather no-penny loafers.

When it came to shoes, Elba’s shoes were hidden from view beneath the long hem of her dress. However, it’s likely that the star wore a matching or complementary pair of pointy pumps or heeled sandals given how she’s looked on the red carpet in the past.

When it comes to shoes, Elba’s styles are bold and elegant. The ‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’ actress often wears strappy sandals and pumps in different shades on the red carpet, which come from brands like Christian Louboutin. In fact, Elba even accompanied Louboutin to the 2022 FNAAs, working alongside Idris with the designer on two Walk a Mile in My Shoes capsule collections that benefited several charities. The star has also been spotted in flat sandals and low-top sneakers from brands like Vans.
