The Queen was the most Googled person of 2022 in the UK, beating out Johnny Depp and Kim Kardashian

THE Queen was the most Googled person in Britain this year, a study has found.
The monarch, who died in September at the age of 96, averaged 516,290 Google searches per month.
The study, by celebrity news site CelebTattler, analyzed data from more than 150 of the most influential celebrities since the beginning of the year to determine who was most talked about.
Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp was the second most Googled with an average of 437,490 searches per month.
His ex-wife Amber Heard ranks third with 388,680 – bolstered by the couple’s defamation trial from April to June this year.
Kim Kardashian was fourth, Oscars punch actor Will Smith – who notoriously beat host Chris Rock on stage – is fifth, ahead of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
Meghan Markle was seventh, new Twitter boss Elon Musk eighth, Cristiano Ronaldo was ninth and pop star Harry Styles completed the top ten with an average of 208,680 searches per month.
A spokesperson for Celeb-Tattler said: “This year has certainly not been short of celebrity news, whether it’s Elon Musk taking over Twitter or the behind-the-scenes ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ drama.
“It will be interesting to see whether these search numbers will increase or decrease in 2023.”
