The remake sequel is coming to Tubi later this year

During the 1980 slasher cult classic terror train (watch it HERE) is set on New Year’s Eve, the remake, which released in late October via streaming service Tubi, moved the setting to Halloween – which made sense given that the slashing takes place at a costume party and things like this happen more often on Halloween than on New Year’s. But if you missed the New Year’s Eve element in this year’s Terror Train, you’ll be glad to know that the upcoming sequel terror train 2 is set for New Year’s Eve – and it’s scheduled to be released this New Year’s Eve!
terror train 2 will be available now on Tubi in the US December 31St. In Canada it is published on Crave by Bell Media.
The continuation Notice confirms that terror train Remake director Philippe Gagnon took the helm for the sequel, written by the same writing duo as the remake, Ian Carpenter and Aaron Martin. in the terror train 2, It has been over a year since a series of gruesome murders aboard the now infamous terror train claimed the lives of several college grads. Alana is forced to join the Mage and other remaining survivors on a New Year’s Eve redemption ride aboard the same train, where the terrified passengers once again struggle to survive.
Robyn Alomar reprises the role of Alana, with Tim Rozon as The Magician.
In case you need a reminder of what happened in the remake, this version of terror train had the following synopsis: In this contemporary reimagining, eerie excitement is in the air as Alana and a group of college seniors board a party train for a Halloween party, but their fun turns to fear as the attendees take it one by one to be killed an unknown murderer. Covered in costume and riddled with chaos, everyone is a suspect. As the party train moves on at full speed, Alana must hit the rails to find the killer before she becomes the next victim.
While our reviewer Tyler Nichols gave that terror train recreating a 4/10 review (you can read it HERE), I had a slightly more positive reaction and thought it would be a good way to spend about 90 minutes. I like to watch terror train 2 when it reaches Tubi.
