Everyone knows it’s always hard to say goodbye…

That’s why a Miami classic gives you two days to say goodbye.

The Wharf Miami is officially closing — but first, they’re throwing a weekend of parties to celebrate the future.

It’s the end of an era for the legendary Wharf Miami.

The Downtown Miami hotspot that opened its doors seven years ago is closing.

Sarah Gottdenker: “I will definitely miss the quay. It’s been a staple of downtown Miami for so long. The bar by the water and just the vibe with my friends on the weekend.”

But not before there’s a massive party.

Tony Guerra: “It’s going to be a great final weekend full of parties.”

Take your vitamins. Eat your Wheaties because it’s going to be a fun-filled two days.

All the themed parties you know and love are back for one night only.

“For the ‘And More’ party on Friday September 15th, we will be dedicating all of our bars to the special nights of Hogwarts, Blowfish and Friends, Cinco de Mayo and Saint Patty’s.”

But if you can’t make it on Friday night, don’t worry.

Tony Guerra: “Saturday September 16th is our Bon Voyage party. This is the true classic Wharf Miami party for everything we represent. It’s a celebration of the things we’ve done, but it’s also a way to honor and toast the future.”

But before you shed a tear: The Kai wants to get bigger and better again.

On the same property as Wharf Miami, where I sit today, is also Riverside Wharf. There will be a nightclub, a restaurant and a rooftop party club, it will be a great project on the river.”

Victoria Portal: “It’s been really amazing to see how much it’s grown and I’m excited to see what they’re really going to do with it.”

The vibe won’t stop just because it’s gone for a few years, you can still check out the Wharf’s other venues.

Tony Guerra: “We have The Wharf Fort Lauderdale doing very well in Las Olas, we have the Carousel Club at Gulf Stream Park. We just opened the new Regatta Grove in Coconut Grove. And we have John Martin’s Restaurant on Miracle Mile Coral Gables.”
