A thief believed to be intent on breaking into a fast food restaurant in north Philadelphia was caught on camera using a rock to break through.
Philadelphia Police Department released surveillance video on Tuesday This shows the burglary of the Burger King early Sunday morning on North Broad Street and Wyoming Avenue in the Logan neighborhood.
Outside video shows a man in a “Cold Stone Creamery” shirt throwing a rock at the drive-thru window and later at the front door of the Burger King around 4 a.m., Philadelphia police said.
The burglar – wearing blue ripped jeans and white sneakers – is then seen on indoor video pulling on the cash drawers behind the counter. At one point you can see what appears to be a large tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.
Investigators asked anyone with information to call Northwest Detectives at 215-686-3353. If you spot the thief, call 911 immediately, police said.
