Threats prompt lockdowns and evacuations at multiple Broward schools – NBC 6 South Florida

Classes were suspended Friday at several Broward schools that received threats, officials said.
Coral Springs Police officers said the school board received multiple identical bomb threats that led to the evacuation of Coral Glades High School.
Police said everyone is safe and the school is not releasing the students, allowing them back into the buildings later.
Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said they had received reports of a possible bomb threat at Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach. Officers from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and detectives from the BSO threat management and bomb protection units responded, and the school went into lockdown, with students being evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Hollywood police also said two schools in the city, Attucks Middle and South Broward High, also received threats on Friday.
South Broward students have been evacuated as a precaution and the Headmaster has sent parents and guardians a message regarding collection.
A suspension was imposed on Attucks Middle but was later lifted.
Police said the threats did not appear to be credible.
