Bleecker Street dropped the first teaser trailer to the Mafia Moman action comedy starring the great Toni Collette as an unlikely crime boss.

Mafia Mom follows an insecure American woman who inherits her grandfather’s mafia empire in Italy. Led by the firm’s trusted consigliere (Monica Bellucci), she hilariously defies all expectations, including her own, as the new head of the family business. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke (dusk) and written by Michael J. Feldman & Debbie Jhoon. Toni Collette also appears as a producer Mafia Mom alongside Christopher Simon and Amanda Sthers. The concept might not have worked as well if another actor directed the film, but Toni Collette rarely misleads us.
