Travis Scott is wanted by the New York City Police Department for an alleged nightclub attack

Travis Scott is wanted for assault.

The astroworld The 30-year-old rapper allegedly punched a sound engineer and caused $12,000 in damage early Wednesday morning at Nebula nightclub in midtown Manhattan, according to multiple reports.

An NYPD spokesman confirmed the incident to Yahoo Entertainment without identifying Scott as an alleged suspect, saying an alleged attack took place at that location as of 2 a.m. Wednesday. The trigger was a “verbal argument” between Scott and a 52-year-old that “escalated into a physical altercation”. The victim was reportedly “slapped in the face,” and the attacker “then damaged a speaker and video screen, causing approximately $12,000 in equipment damage.” The investigations are still ongoing.”

NBC News confirmed with NYPD sources that Scott – real name Jacques Webster – was wanted after he allegedly hit the victim on the left side of the face with a closed fist. Scott then fled the West 41st St. Club in a car. Police responded to Nebula at around 3:25 a.m. Investigators look at the club’s surveillance video.

Accordingly WPIX TV, Scott is wanted for assault and criminal mischief. The alleged victim did not report any serious physical injuries to police.

Earlier in the night, Scott was the surprise guest at rapper Don Toliver’s show at the Irving Plaza music venue in Union Square.

Scott officials have not responded to a request for comment.

The “Sicko Mode” singer is longtime boyfriend of reality star and beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, with whom he has two children, Stormi and Aire. However, they are reportedly on a hiatus.

Scott returned to the stage last year for the first time since the Astroworld Festival tragedy. During his headlining set at his festival in November 2021, 10 people died during a crowd. Scott, who said he was unaware people were being trampled, was the defendant in a number of court hearings related to the tragedy.
