Where, when and how can you watch St. Louis CITY SC’s playoff debut?

ST. LOUIS – A great moment in St. Louis football history – St. Louis CITY SC’s first playoff game – is set for Sunday night.

St. Louis CITY SC hosts Sporting Kansas City on Sunday evening for the first game of a best-of-three series.

Tens of thousands of fans are expected in downtown St. Louis, but with potentially frigid temperatures and high demand for tickets, chances are you’ll want to watch the action from home.

If you want to watch CITY SC on your TV on Sunday, here’s what you need to know:

  • Kick-off: Scheduled for 9 p.m
  • TV channel: FS1
  • Stream: Apple TV

Fans essentially have two options for watching Sunday’s big game, including a free option.

The game will be broadcast nationally on FS1, following the MLS broadcast of FC Cincinnati versus the New York Red Bulls. Because of this setup and other MLS scheduling considerations, CITY SC’s playoff game could start closer to 9:20 or 9:30 p.m

If you don’t have FS1, there is also a free option (Sunday only) to watch CITY vs Sporting.

Anyone with an Apple TV account can also watch the first game for free. You don’t need Apple TV+ or MLS Season Plus to watch the first game of the series. All you need is an account to access a stream that will be made available in the evening.

According to MLSSoccer.comFans can also watch the Houston-Salt Lake game for free on Sunday at around 5:00 p.m. and the Cincinnati-New York game at around 7:00 p.m.

If you can’t access the game on FS1 or Apple TV but live in the St. Louis metro area, you can also listen to the broadcast via radio on 98.1 FM.
