Heather Gay is one of seven cast members in Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City-also known as RHOSLC– along with original Housewives Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose; new housewives Angie Katsanevas and Monica Garcia; and friend Mary Cosby.

During an interview on the Two Ts in a Pod podcast in August 2023, Whitney teased the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns to her old form after Season 3 following the departure of original actress Jen Shah, who is jailed for cheating. “Season 4 is a sort of return to Salt Lake City’s original roots,” said Whitney. She continued, “But we’re not fighting over someone going to jail.” Whitney continued, “Having Jen gone is like a breath of fresh air.”

Whiteny also admitted that filming was “so much easier” without Jen. “I think it just felt weird not having her because she was an OG. We built the show with her. But I don’t think we missed them in terms of toxicity,” she said. Whitney also teased new housewife Monica and her dynamic with the cast. “She definitely brought it with her. And I think a lot of people are nervous about not having Jen,” she said. “But we brought it with us. It’s still everything.” Whitney went on to reveal that Monica once worked for Jen. “So I had heard about her because she worked for Jen and her name is mentioned a lot on the street,” Whitney said.

In the cold opening of Season 4 Episode 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, on May 10, 2023 in Bermuda, Heather receives a mysterious phone call. “Hey, what did you find out?” Heather tells the caller. “Are you kidding me now? Shut up.” Heather continues as her voice starts to crack, “I’m shaking. I can’t believe it’s her. How could she do this to us? I’m freaking the fuck out. I’m freaking the fuck out ”

Only her audio could be heard while the camera showed the producers struggling to film her. Camera shows one producer knocking on Heather’s door before another tells the cameraman to “just go in.” The cameraman then finds Heather on the phone on her room’s balcony as Heather urges the cameraman to exit. “Guys, seriously, no. Seriously, no. You guys, seriously,” says Heather as the camera operator exits her room. The cold beginning ends with Heather’s voice over recordings of snowy mountain peaks. “How did we all fall for that?” says Heather. “I don’t know who to trust anymore.”

Who called Heather? The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 Premiere? Accordingly diversity, the call is from the Season 4 finale of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, so until then we won’t know for sure who called Heather. The most popular theory is that Jen Shah played the lead role The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City from seasons 1 to 3, called Heather. Jen went The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after season 3 after pleading guilty to fraud and being sentenced to six and a half years in prison. Jen is currently being held at Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Bryan, Texas, where Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes is also serving an 11-year sentence.

During an episode in the podcast “Two Ts in one capsule” in August 2023, Whitney Rose, another Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member, claimed that the only cast member she believed to have been in contact with Jen was Heather, although she could not confirm if the two had spoken since Jen was in prison. Some fans believe it’s unlikely that Heather’s call came from Jen, as the call appeared to start immediately after Heather picked up her phone. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, which lists Federal Prison Camp Bryan, Jen most likely paid for the call, so there may have been no communication after Heather picked up the phone that the call was from Jen. “Usually the inmate pays for the calls; but in some cases, the receiving party pays,” the website reads.

On May 17, 2023, seven days after Heather’s call, Whitney shared a cryptic message Instagram Post about “personal growth” and “self-love”. “The only thing I’m showing up for right now is my spirituality, personal growth and self-love. who is with me . . #spirituality #healing journey #deliberate jewelry #self love #personal growth #spiritual awakening #rhoslc,” the post captioned.

Meredith Marks, another Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Actor also shared one Instagram Post from Bermuda on May 21, 2023, noting the “shadow” she experienced during the season. “The shade doesn’t bother her and she loves the heat,” she captioned the post.

Angie Katsanevas, who also stars The Real Housewives of Salt Lake Cityshared one Instagram Post from May 19, 2023 about her filming of the finale. “It’s a wrap,” she captioned the post.
