Wo Long Fallen Dynasty release time: When will the game be playable?

In 2017, Team Ninja presented their Soulslike chops nioh: A samurai adventure that incorporates dungeon crawler loot into the mix. In 2020, Team Ninja released a sequel, Nioh 2but instead of developing a Nioh 3the studio began developing a spiritual sequel set in the Chinese Three Kingdoms period, Wo Long: The Fallen Dynasty. After several demos, Team Ninja’s latest iteration of Soulslike gameplay is almost ready for release.

According to the official site, Where to go will be released this Friday, March 3rd. As with many other games nowadays, Where to go will reportedly launch on a staggered schedule tied to each region’s time zone. The audience cannot start playing Where to go to midnight in their respective regions, except for West Coast players, which may begin at 9:00 p.m. PST. While players who bought a physical copy will have to wait until stores open on March 3 (or hope their retailer throws a midnight release party), anyone who bought the game digitally or has an active Xbox Game Pass subscription has midnight on the play point. Currently only Xbox owners can preload Where to go (no word on when or if PC and PlayStation players will be able to download the game ahead of launch).

If Friday March 3rd can’t come soon enough, we feel your pain. But more importantly, you can spend the time honing your skills in final Where to go demo. This sampling will guide players through the first two chapters of the game, and while online multiplayer is disabled, participants can transfer their save data to the retail version of the game. In addition, anyone who completes the first chapter will unlock the “Crouching Dragon Helmet” in their copy Where to go. If you want the helmet, you have to act quickly because the demo is only available until March 27th. Well, technically on March 26, 11:59 p.m. Now all that’s missing is a Hidden Tiger Chestguard.
