It was reported that McNally had accompanied the man for a weekend on the town after meeting him on online dating site Seeking Arrangement.
He paid her $2,500 for her time and took her to meet his friends for the eighth performance of U2’s Las Vegas residency at the recently opened billion-dollar venue.
She then allegedly left mid-performance and raided his safe at Caesars Palace before being arrested.
The couple had attended U2’s show at the Sphere
The weekend reportedly began with McNally helping the drunken man to bed in his room at Caesars Palace the night before.
She returned the next morning and when she caught him gambling with his friends, the victim gave her another $400, which she gambled away and won $3,100.
Accordingly 8NewsNowMcNally asked the victim if she could leave her purse in the security safe in his room.
He gave her a code to unlock the safe, which contained $50,000 in cash and another $7,000 in poker chips.
That Saturday evening, October 14th, they attended the U2 show at the Sphere, but midway through, McNally told the victim she had to go to the bathroom.
When she didn’t return after 15 minutes, he texted her and asked if she was OK, but she didn’t respond.
After another 35 minutes, the alarmed victim called security at Caesar’s Palace and asked him to lock his room.
But it was too late and when he got back to the room he found the safe was empty and both the cash and chips were gone.
McNally was captured on surveillance video around 9:30 p.m., about half an hour after she said she went to the bathroom and entered the 24th floor of the hotel, where the room was located.
Shortly afterwards, police said, she was seen getting back into the elevator with several bags.
When she was later arrested on Oct. 17, McNally claimed the victim was “sexually aggressive and touched her inappropriately,” which made her uncomfortable.
McNally insisted she only took her purse, other belongings and the casino chips, but did not steal the cash.
However, when police searched McNally’s apartment, they discovered about $11,700 in cash and another $5,200 in chips.
She was charged with grand larceny over $25,000 and residential burglary. Both charges are felonies.
McNally, who was released on bail, faces a court date on November 22.
