Woman killed in hit-and-run crash on I-55 SB identified

ST. LOUIS – New details about a fatal hit-and-run accident Wednesday.

Police identified the woman killed in a hit-and-run on Interstate 55 as 43-year-old Randii Smith. The accident occurred just after midnight Wednesday morning in the southbound lanes of the highway near Lindbergh Boulevard.

Police are still searching for the driver of this accident. It’s unclear why Smith was traveling on the highway.
